Richland Center, WI

2019 CLS Tourney champion decided!

The final tournament games of the 2019 season for Richland Center Church League Softball were played Tuesday night.

In the consolation game, Church of the Nazarene edged St. Mary’s KC’s 11-10. Andrew Krueger, Hunter Matthews, Scott Oman, Tim Biba and Jerod McCollum all had extra base hits for St. Mary’s and Megan Ewing added a pair of hits. St. Mary’s takes third place.

That set up a championship matchup between the Nazarenes and Hidden Valley Community. Hidden Valley took the title, topping runner-up Church of the Nazarene 12-1. Matt Hatfield, Jeremy Carter and Kory Thompson all went 3 for 3 to back up the great pitching of Jim Luxton for Hidden Valley.

The second annual CLS All-Star game is slated for Tuesday, August 27 at 8pm on the East Diamond. Rosters are set for the Red and Blue teams.
